Went to the Senior Soiree today at SCAD. It's basically a massive interest meeting where some of the films and projects try to gather crew. I signed up for 4 of them. Not sure if I'll get to work on any, but the people seemed nice. I didn't find anyone still needing concept art for characters (mostly background/setting and objects) but I did put in my name for two as a storyboard artist (one to start right away), one as an inker (Winter Quarter mostly, and maybe some concept art like above), and one as a clean-up artist (with cats ^_^). I hope that I get on at least one!! I'm cautiously optimistic. We've had to push back the sale date on the

Gearing up for my Portfolio

I've been working again on my portfolio. I'm very worried about getting to SCAD. There have been some great advances. They gave me an Academic Scholarship. I've finished up at ICC with a great GPA. I'm just worried about selling the house and getting the money to move. But it's a brand new year and I can't balk now!! I have to keep my head up.
In that regard, I'm trying to get new work finished and adjusting old work. I'd like to work on some watercolor next. Maybe I could do a combo of Copic and Watercolor! I hope that everyone has a great year and I hope you enjoy my growing body of work!!

Hard at Work

I have a lot of new paintings and I'm hard at work to finish up on my show on the 14th of September (through the 30th.) I've been doing a lot to try to prepare and I am amazed at the amount of support I've had already.
In other news, I found an even better school in Savannah, GA (SCAD) and that is my new and more confident direction. I will graduate in the spring and John is also going to school again. Life is pretty great. Now if only I can keep up with it!
